The Bulli & Districts Tennis Association has been running tennis in the Illawarra for over 75 years. Two centres, one community, hundreds of players.
Formed in 1949, the Bulli & Districts Tennis Association is the inheriting organisation of the Near South Coast Tennis association, which was founded in the early 1920s. For over a century, tennis has been woven into the fabric of the Illawarra community.
Our aim is to facilitate and enhance the participation and quality of tennis across the surrounding districts — through competition, coaching, social play and community events at our two centres.
We run weekly social events including singles and doubles at both facilities, and an annual club championship open to all members. Our hope is that participation promotes a healthy interest in self-development and personal enjoyment through tennis.
